COMMISSIONS

I am available for commercial or private commissions; prices vary depending on the nature of the request, medium, and the time involved.

Commissions can be quite labour intensive, particularly if working from a photo or other reference source. As such, I take into account the hours I anticipate spending on it (planning, sketching, working up the final image, painting and general admin), as well as the cost of materials and other expenses such as packaging. While I try to keep my prices affordable, I strongly believe in the importance of working within industry standards and not disadvantaging the industry by undercharging or devaluing my work and the time it takes.

Private pricing: For a full A4-size custom-made original watercolour painting you can expect to pay somewhere between $125 to $160, for A3 size full colour custom originals from $250 to $300. I can also do smaller or larger sizes, and oil paintings/pen & ink sketches. If your price range does not stretch this far, I also sell archival prints of my work.
